The IPM is 7-stage Protection Plan:
Stage 1 – Inspection
A detailed inspection plan is designed at every building facility taking into account five-pest activity zones: entry points, water sources, food sources, harborage points, and customer and employee areas.
Stage 2 – Facility Layout Analysis
Once a detailed inspection has been completed, our team members will work on operation’s traffic patterns to get more insights on the number of people entering and leaving the building every day.
Stage 3 – Pest Identification
Obviously treatment of different types of pests requires a customized approach and pest management. For this reason our technicians effectively cooperate with employees of the building’s operator to accurately file instances of pests seen in order to help prevent possible infestations.
Stage 4 – Customized Plan
Another critical part of this process is to come up with a highly customized pest management program tailored to a customer’s existing pest problems based on such variables as location, climate, age of facilities, etc.
Stage 5 Sanitation Consultation
Another core element of the IPM program is a regular sanitation which primarily impacts factors contributing to pest infestation in the building.
Stage 6 – Treatment Strategies
As an environmentally conscious company PEI Pest Control is always exhausting all available non-chemical pest control options first before considering chemical control options as a last resort.
Stage 7 – Ongoing Monitoring and Maintenance
Perhaps, this last stage is the most critical one to make sure IPM program remains successful. This stage includes detailed and accurate reporting of pest sightings and proper documentation for customers and regulatory bodies.
